В ходе прямой линии 27 декабря Глава Донецкой Народной Республики Денис Пушилин ответил на вопрос о возможности проведения до конца 2018 года обмена пленными. Также руководитель Республики прокомментировал причины затягивания этого процесса.
«Буду откровенен. Учитывая ход переговорного процесса, шансов крайне мало на то, что ребята вернутся домой в этом году. Если говорить про опыт прошлого года, тогда в процесс включилась церковь. А что сейчас происходит с церковью на Украине – все мы знаем. И это также отняло у нас один из механизмов воздействия на украинское правительство. Имеет место и саботаж», — констатировал Пушилин.
О ходе переговорного процесса по вопросу обмена пленными в ходе прямой линии рассказала Уполномоченный по правам человека в ДНР Дарья Морозова.
«К сожалению, в этом году обмена мы не дождемся. Это обусловлено несколькими факторами. Если даже сравнивать работу гуманитарной подгруппы с прошлым годом – мы весь год проводили верификацию, работали со списками и так далее. Уже в течение полугода уполномоченные представители Киева даже не приезжают на заседания в Минск. И готовить списки в такой ситуации просто невозможно.
Координатор от ОБСЕ Тони Фриш полностью владеет ситуацией, он неоднократно беседовал с украинским руководством, пытаясь найти консенсус.
С нашей стороны подготовлены все списки, проведена верификация. Донецкая Народная Республика полностью готова к обмену пленными. Украинская сторона пыталась создать видимость работы, предлагая какие-то новые формулы. Хочу напомнить, что единственно возможная формула – «всех на всех», промежуточный вариант – «всех установленных на всех установленных», — сообщила омбудсмен.
Денис Пушилин подчеркнул, что обмен пленными возможен только в случае, если страны-гаранты Минских соглашений и международная общественность соответствующим образом повлияют на официальный Киев.

And this also deprived us of one of the mechanisms of influence on the Ukrainian power. Sabotage also takes place,” Pushilin concluded.
DPR Human Rights Commissioner Darya Morozova during the live TV call-in show told about the progress of the negotiation process regarding the swap of war prisoners.
“Unfortunately, we will not expect an exchange to happen this year. This is due to several factors. Even if we compare the work of the humanitarian subgroup with the previous year, we had been carrying out verification all year, worked with lists, and so on. For six months already, the authorized representatives of Kiev have not even come to the meetings in Minsk. And preparing the lists in such a situation is simply impossible.
The OSCE coordinator, Tony Frisch, is in complete control of the situation, he repeatedly spoke with the Ukrainian leadership, trying to find a consensus.
For our part, all the lists have been prepared, the verification has been carried out. The Donetsk People’s Republic is fully ready for the exchange of war prisoners. The Ukrainian side tried to make it look like they were working by offering some new formulas. I want to remind you that the only possible formula is “all for all”, the intermediate option is “all identified for all identified,” the ombudsperson reported.
Denis Pushilin stressed that the swap of war prisoners is possible only if the guarantor countries for the Minsk agreements and the international community will influence the official Kiev appropriately.
