По данным на окончание 2018 года, на территории Донецкой области продолжают сохраняться негативные демографические тенденции.
В течение года численность населения на подконтрольной Украине территории сократилась почти на 30 тысяч человек. Разница между родившимися и умершими демонстрирует отрицательное сальдо – за год родилось немногим больше 10 тысяч человек, а умерло больше чем втрое – 33 255 человек.
Также потери в количестве населения обусловлены безвозвратной миграцией: разница между прибывшими и убывшими составляет почти 9 тысяч человек.
Как отмечают украинские специалисты, главными причинами оттока населения из региона являются боевые действия и нестабильная социально-экономическая ситуация.
According to the data for late 2018, negative demographic trends still persist in the territory of the Donetsk region.
Throughout the year, the population in the Ukraine-controlled territory has decreased by almost 30 thousand people. The difference between the born and the dead shows a negative balance: over the year, more than 10 thousand people were born, but 33,255 people died — more than three times.
In addition, the losses in the number of the population stem from the irretrievable migration: the difference between the incomers and out-migrants is almost 9 thousand people.
According to Ukrainian specialists, the main causes of the migration of the population from the region are the hostilities and unstable socio-economic situation.
