Уважаемые крымчане, поздравляю вас с Днем воссоединения Крыма с Россией!
Пять лет назад в сложных условиях социально-политического кризиса на Украине жители Республики Крым и города Севастополя сделали принципиальный и ответственный шаг – был проведен общенародный референдум, по итогам которого подавляющим большинством голосов принято решение о воссоединении Крыма с Россией на правах субъекта Российской Федерации. Это позволило восстановить историческую справедливость и реализовать давнюю мечту жителей полуострова.
Стойкость и непреклонность, проявленные при реализации свободного волеизъявления граждан, вдохновили миллионы людей на активное сопротивление националистическому режиму, пришедшему к власти на Украине в результате государственного переворота в феврале 2014 года.
В настоящее время Республика Крым и город Севастополь как равноправные субъекты Российской Федерации глубоко интегрированы в ее политическую, экономическую и культурную жизнь. Позитивные изменения в различных сферах заметны уже сейчас и продолжают планомерно осуществляться, что достоверно свидетельствует о правильности принятого решения.
Желаю мира и процветания, добра и благополучия жителям Республики Крым и города Севастополя, а также всем тем, благодаря кому воссоединение с Российской Федерацией стало возможным. Пусть дружба и сплоченность, братство и взаимопомощь станут надежным залогом дальнейших успехов и достижений.

Dear Crimeans, I congratulate you on Day of the Reunification of Crimea with Russia!
Five years ago, in difficult conditions of the socio-political crisis in Ukraine, the residents of the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol took a fundamental and responsible step – a nationwide referendum was held, which resulted in an overwhelming majority decision to reunite Crimea with Russia as an entity of the Russian Federation. This allowed restoring the historical justice and materializing the long-time dream of the residents of the peninsula.
The resilience and intransigence shown in the implementation of the free will expression of the citizens inspired millions of people to actively resist the nationalist regime that came to power in Ukraine as a result of the coup d’état in February 2014.
At present, the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, as entities of the Russian Federation enjoying equal rights, are deeply integrated into its political, economic and cultural life. Positive changes in various fields are noticeable now and continue to be systematically carried out, which reliably indicates the correctness of the decision made.
I wish peace and prosperity, goodness and well-being to the residents of the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, as well as to all those who made reunification with the Russian Federation possible. May friendship and solidarity, fraternity and mutual assistance become a reliable guarantee of further success and achievements.
