За прошедшие сутки противник шестнадцать раз нарушил режим прекращения огня. Об этом сообщил 8 мая начальник пресс-службы УНМ ДНР, майор Даниил Безсонов на очередном брифинге.
На Донецком направлении боевики 93-й механизированной бригады с применением БМП, гранатомётов и крупнокалиберных пулемётов обстреляли Ясиноватую, Васильевку и Минеральное.
На Горловском направлении с позиций 30-й механизированной бригады открывался огонь по Доломитному, Гольмовскому и Зайцево (южное) из вооружения БМП, стрелкового оружия и миномета (всего выпущено тридцать 120-мм мин).
На Мариупольском направлении украинские боевики 79-й десантно-штурмовой бригады с применением 120-мм миномётов обстреляли Коминтерново, выпустив три мины», — заявил Безсонов.
Он также выразил соболезнования семье погибшего защитника Республики.
В результате ответного огня из незапрещённого вооружения украинские боевики понесли потери: пятеро убитых и трое раненых.

As a result of return fire with non-prohibited weapons, the Ukrainian militants suffered losses: five dead and three wounded.
