Сегодня, 10 мая, в Донецке открыли мемориальную доску в честь первого Главы ДНР, Героя Донецкой Народной Республики Александра Захарченко (1976–2018). Она установлена на здании Республиканского общеобразовательного учреждения «Школа № 4 – Кадетский корпус им. А.В. Захарченко», в стенах которой он учился. Как сообщает корреспондент официального сайта ДНР, в мероприятии приняли участие действующий Глава ДНР Денис Пушилин, Президент Республики Южная Осетия Анатолий Бибилов, депутат Государственной Думы Федерального Собрания Российской Федерации Казбек Тайсаев, другие официальные лица.

«Сегодня, накануне Дня Республики, мы открываем мемориальную доску в память о первом Главе Донецкой Народной Республики, Герое Республики Александре Владимировиче Захарченко.

Знать историю, помнить людей, которые отдали свою жизнь за свободу и справедливость, за то, чтобы Республика жила, – долг каждого гражданина. Уверен, что практически каждый гражданин Республики гордится тем, что наш современник, героическая личность Александр Захарченко – настоящий патриот. Мы в долгу перед первым Главой ДНР. Он возглавил Республику в самый сложный период. Александр Захарченко любил и очень ценил нашу землю.

Его жизнь неразрывно связана с Донбассом, с его славными традициями. Александр Захарченко любил свою школу. Недаром Кадетский корпус был открыт именно здесь. Считаю, что вы как патриоты ДНР должны равняться на Александра Захарченко, ценить нашу свободу и независимость, бережно храня в сердце память о первом Главе Республики», — обратился к кадетам Глава ДНР Денис Пушилин.

«У каждого в жизни есть люди, которые оставляют в сердце след. Я горд и счастлив, что был знаком с таким выдающимся вашим земляком, первым руководителем Донецкой Народной Республики Александром Владимировичем Захарченко. Его человечность, любовь к Родине, отношение к своему народу вызывали восторг и уважение. Я уверен, что Донецкая Народная Республика будет процветать, развиваться и свято чтить память о первом Главе ДНР Александре Захарченко», — отметил Президент РЮО Анатолий Бибилов.

«Александр Владимирович отдал свою жизнь за то, чтобы люди Донбасса достойно жили на своей родной земле. Другой задачи у него не было», — сказал депутат Госдумы Казбек Тайсаев. Также он добавил, что депутаты Государственной Думы Российской Федерации обратились к мэру Москвы Сергею Собянину с инициативой увековечить память Александра Захарченко, назвав его именем одну из московских улиц.

Память первого Главы ДНР Александра Захарченко собравшиеся почтили минутой молчания.

Today, on May 10th, a memorial plaque in honor of the first Head of the DPR, Hero of the Donetsk People’s Republic Alexander Zakharchenko (1976–2018) was opened in Donetsk. It is set up on the building of the Republic educational institution School 4 – Cadet Corps named after A.V. Zakharchenko, in whose walls he studied. According to a correspondent of the DPR official website, current Head of the DPR Denis Pushilin, President of the Republic of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov, deputy of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Kazbek Taisayev, and other officials, attended the event.

“Today, on the eve of Republic’s Day, we are opening a memorial plaque in the memory of the first Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic, Hero of the Republic Alexander Vladimirovich Zakharchenko.

Knowing history, remembering the people who gave their lives for freedom and justice, so the Republic can live on, is the duty of every citizen. I am sure that virtually every citizen of the Republic is proud that our contemporary, heroic person Alexander Zakharchenko was a true patriot. We are in debt to the first Head of the DPR. He led the Republic in the most difficult period. Alexander Zakharchenko loved and really appreciated our land.

His life was inextricably tied with Donbass, with its glorious traditions. Alexander Zakharchenko loved his school. No wonder that the Cadet Corps was opened here. I believe that you, as patriots of the DPR, should look up to Alexander Zakharchenko, appreciate our freedom and independence, carefully keep in your hearts the memory of the first Head of the Republic,” Head of the DPR Denis Pushilin addressed the cadets.

“Everyone in their life has had people who leave a mark in their hearts. I am proud and happy that I was acquainted with such an outstanding countryman, first Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Alexander Vladimirovich Zakharchenko. His humanity, love for the Motherland, attitude to his people aroused enthusiasm and respect. I am sure that the Donetsk People’s Republic will prosper, develop and sacredly honor the memory of first Head of the DPR Alexander Zakharchenko,” President of the RSO Anatoly Bibilov noted.

“Alexander Vladimirovich gave his life so the people of Donbass can live in dignity in their native land. He had no other task,” State Duma Deputy Kazbek Taisayev said. He also added that the deputies of the State Duma of the Russian Federation appealed to mayor of Moscow Sergei Sobyanin with the initiative to perpetuate the memory of Alexander Zakharchenko by having one of the Moscow streets named after him.

Those present observed a minute of silence in tribute to the memory of first Head of the DPR Alexander Zakharchenko.
