In addition, the Donetsk People’s Republic raised the issue of confirming the whereabouts of the requested persons in Ukraine and sharing information about their procedural status. Following the discussion, agreements were reached on the mutual sharing of the specified data, as well as on the mutual approval of the lists of the detained persons.

In the second half of the working meeting on the issue of organizing a joint search for missing persons, the negotiators discussed a mechanism for identifying unidentified bodies, initial steps to organize the transfer of the remains and the mutual sharing of information.

The meeting was held in a constructive manner, which gives hope for further progress in elaborating effective solutions to agenda issues that are of particular importance for improving the humanitarian situation on either side of the separation line,” Darya Morozova commented.
