Соревнования по авто- и мотоспорту такого уровня впервые проходили в ДНР. В них приняли участие 70 профессиональных экипажей из Донецкой и Луганской Народных Республик и Российской Федерации. Своими впечатлениями о чемпионате Глава ДНР Денис Пушилин поделился с журналистами из Луганской Народной Республики.

– Если одним словом — то мощно! Подобного формата у нас еще не было. Для нас это был своеобразный эксперимент, своеобразная проба, и скажу, что все получилось! Волновались, переживали. Но однозначно – у нас получилось. Я имел возможность пообщаться и со спортсменами, и с болельщиками – всем все понравилось. Значит, нам нужно дальше набирать обороты.

Нашей молодежи не хватает подобных мероприятий, а это – опен-эйр достаточно серьезного уровня, где можно было еще и отдохнуть семьями, с детьми. Это действительно здорово и нужно!

– У Вас самого не было искушения прокатиться?

– Было. Но это было бы неправильно. Трасса мне знакома. Обвинили бы, что заранее точки знал. Поэтому не поддался на это искушение, но очень хотелось.

– Немного обидно, что большинство призовых мест отняли гости?

– Я считаю, что это абсолютно нормально, мы просто гостеприимные. Донбасс гостеприимен.

Этот чемпионат непосредственно показал возможности, выявил организационные моменты. Донбасский вариант будет востребован. А дальше пусть проголосуют спортсмены своим участием.

– В следующем году?

– Обязательно! Мы планируем такие соревнования сделать традиционными ко Дню освобождения Донбасса. Возможно, будут еще какие-то промежуточные этапы, например, весной. Но это пока в тестовом варианте.

The competitions in auto and motor sports of such scale have been held in the DPR for the first time. 70 professional crews from the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics and the Russian Federation took part in them. Head of the DPR Denis Pushilin shared his impressions of the championship with reporters from the Lugansk People’s Republic.

— Pulling it all together — it was powerful! We have not had such a format yet. For us it was a kind of experiment, a kind of test, and I’ll say that everything worked out! We worried, were excited. But definitely we did it. I had the opportunity to talk with both sportsmen and fans — everyone liked it. So, we need to keep gaining momentum.

Our youth lack such events, and this was an open-air of quite a serious level, where it was also possible to relax with families and children. This is really great and necessary!

— Were you tempted to go for a drive?

— I was. But that would be wrong. The track is familiar to me. They would accuse me of knowing the points in advance. Therefore, I did not succumb to this temptation, but really wanted to.

— Was it somewhat disappointing that most of the prizes were taken away by the guests?

— I think that this is absolutely okay, we are just hospitable. Donbass is hospitable.

This championship directly showed the opportunities, revealed organizational issues. Donbass’s version will be in demand. And then let the sportsmen vote through their participation.

— Next year?

— Sure! We plan to make such competitions traditional by the Day of the liberation of Donbass. Perhaps there will be some other intermediate stages, for example, in the spring. But this is still in testing mode.
