Важными и своевременными назвал требования народа Донбасса к президенту Украины Зеленскому глава администрации Макеевки Сергей Голощапов.
«Акция, запущенная молодежью и поддержанная всем народом Донбасса – от мала до велика, — очень важная и своевременная. Благодаря ей люди открыто заявляют о своих законных правах, которых они были лишены в результате войны. Я присоединяюсь к акции «Выбор Донбасса» и призываю всех поддержать обращение к Зеленскому, чтобы заставить его прекратить войну», — заявил он.
В комментариях к заявлению глава Макеевской городской администрации добавил, что в ходе предвыборной кампании президент Украины Владимир Зеленский представил свой собственный план прекращения войны в Донбассе, первым пунктом которого было прекращение огня. «Однако после вступления в должность главы государства он ни одного шага в этом направлении не сделал. Напротив, военная ситуация только обострилась, обстрелы мирных городов Республик усилились. Также Зеленский публично заявил, что особый политический статус Донбасс не получит, что он не подпишет закон об амнистии, что не станет вести переговоры с представителями Республик, что не планирует отменять закон о языке. А это ключевые требования Минских соглашений. Это все те же наши требования, о которых мы говорим с 2014 года», — подчеркнул Сергей Голощапов.
«Народ Донбасса требует признать все наши требования, в том числе на особый статус, право на самоопределение и интеграцию с Российской Федерацией. Это не просто слова, каждое из них обагрено кровью наших товарищей, убитых стариков, детей и гражданских жителей Республики. Мы не свернем с намеченного пути!», — подытожил градоначальник.

“The campaign that was started by the youth and supported by all the people of Donbass, by young and old, is very important and timely. Thanks to it, people openly declare their legitimate rights, which they have been deprived of due to the war. I join the campaign Choice of Donbass and encourage everyone to support the appeal to Zelensky to make him stop the war,” he said.
Commenting the statement, the mayor of Makeyevka added that during the election campaign, president of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky announced his own plan for ending the war in Donbass, the first point of which was a ceasefire. “However, after assuming the office of the head of state, he has not taken any steps in this direction. On the contrary, the combat situation has only escalated, the shelling of peaceful cities and towns of the Republics has been intensified. Zelensky also publicly stated that Donbass would not be granted a special political status, that he would not sign an amnesty law, that he would not negotiate with representatives of the Republics, that he did not plan to revoke the language law. And these are the key terms of the Minsk agreements. These are the same terms that we have been talking about since 2014,” Sergey Goloschapov emphasized.
“The people of Donbass demands that all our terms be met, including the special status, the right to self-determination and integration with the Russian Federation. These are not just words, each of them is stained with the blood of our comrades, the elderly, children and civilians of the Republic who were killed. We will not turn off the intended track!” the mayor summed up.
