Today, on July 20, deputy of the DPR People’s Council Irina Popova and activists of the Donetsk Republic Public Movement handed over humanitarian aid to the residents of the village of Styla who were most affected by hostilities. The event was held as part of the activities of the Public Staff for Frontline Districts affiliated with the Donetsk Republic Public Movement’s Operational Headquarters HEALTHyMOVEMENT, the press service of the organization reports.
Targeted aid in the form of 15 kits for making preserved foodstuff, 10 tanks of water, 7 sets of agricultural tools and 6 hygiene kits were given to representatives of socially vulnerable categories of the population: physically-challenged people, people undergoing long-drawn medical treatment, low-income families.
“Styla is one of the bleeding and non-healing wounds of our Republic. Besides, it is a living confirmation of the criminal war against the residents of Donbass, which Kiev politicians unleashed. The humanitarian situation is very challenging. Nothing can replace peaceful skies over our heads, but I am sincerely glad that I have had the chance to help the villagers,” Irina Popova said.
Recall that the HEALTHyMOVEMENT Operational Headquarters was formed within the Donetsk Republic Public Movement in the conditions of the advanced readiness regime to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the Donetsk People’s Republic.
