19 июля в Иловайске состоялся вечер памяти, посвященный дню рождения Героя ДНР Михаила Толстых. Как сообщает корреспондент официального сайта ДНР, родной город легендарного комбата в этот день посетили депутаты Народного Совета, российские исполнители и общественные деятели, сослуживцы героя и просто неравнодушные граждане.
«Это не только мой округ, здесь мои друзья. И я считаю, что 19 июля войдет во все учебники истории Русского мира. Михаил Толстых был и остается легендой, символом борьбы народа Донбасса и всего Русского мира», — рассказал депутат Станислав Шапошников.
Также парламентарий рассказал, что лично для него значит слово «герой». «Это тот, кто встал на защиту своей Родины и своим примером показал, как защищать наши ценности и историю», — отметил Шапошников.
19 июля 2018 года Михаилу Толстых («Гиви») исполнилось бы 38 лет. Напомним, командир батальона «Сомали» погиб 8 февраля 2017 года в результате теракта, организованного украинскими спецслужбами.
