The DPR People’s Militia Directorate continues to receive information on non-combat losses among AFU ranks. Official representative of the DPR PMD Oleg Nikitin spoke in more detail about this at a daily briefing in Donetsk.
“On Sunday, October 13th, during the engineer preparation of positions, militants of the 56th brigade in the Peski area due to security breaches in the detection of explosive objects and an attempt to extract them on their own, an explosion occurred, which killed one Ukrainian soldier born in 1972”, Oleg Nikitin said.
The official representative of the DPR PMD also noted that in anticipation of the meeting of the Trilateral Contact Group, which will be held in Minsk on October 15th, in addition to the intensified attacks on the territory of the Republic, the AFU continue to violate the agreements reached regarding the use of UAVs.
“People’s Militia air defense units effectively ensure the security of the Republic from air threats. Thanks to the professional actions of our defenders, over the past day another UAV of the armed formations of Ukraine of the Leleka model was destroyed in the Sakhanka area, with which the militants of the 36th brigade tried to conduct aerial reconnaissance,” Oleg Nikitin stated.
In addition, Poroshenko’s party perseveres in its attempts to destabilize the situation both in the joint forces operation zone and within the country.
“In order to support nationalist militants in the event of an open armed confrontation within the country, as well as to prevent the peaceful settlement of the conflict in Donbass, between October 11th and 13th, Ukrainian nationalist Yarosh conducted outreach work in AFU units. During his three-day trip, he visited units of the 36th, 28th, 56th and 92nd brigades. The basis of his speeches was a call to sabotage the withdrawal of forces and means and support ex-president Poroshenko,” official representative of the DPR PMD Oleg Nikitin said.
