Power engineers of the Republic are making every effort to quickly restore the supply of electricity to populated localities of the DPR after attacks by Kiev militants. Therefore, yesterday, on October 14th, once again they had to urgently respond to the blackout of the villages of Sosnovka and Naberezhnoye in Novoazovsky district. This is reported by the press service of the Ministry of Coal and Energy of the DPR.

At 12:24, as a result of hostilities, the high-voltage line 10 kV (connection Ukrainskoye) was damaged, which supplies the villages of Naberezhnoye and Sosnovka from the Yuzhnaya-35 kV substation, both populated localities were left without electricity. It took the power engineers two hours to identify damage to the line between supports No. 42-43, restore its integrity and give power supply to the villagers.

It is worth noting that already twice in three days, specialists of the Republic enterprise Regional Energy Supply Company have eliminated the consequences of attacks on energy infrastructure facilities by the armed formations of Ukraine only at this connection. On October 11th, the wiere of phase V wire was broken by fragments of AFU shells. Since the damage site of the 10 kV overhead line was in the “gray zone”, it took longer to repair. Electricity supply in Sosnovka and Naberezhnoye was then resumed on October 12th at 10:24.

Now the energy supply of the populated localities is carried out as per normal.
