Since February 15th, the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy of the Donetsk People’s Republic has been paying one-off financial assistance to compatriots living in the territory temporarily controlled by Ukraine.
As part of the implementation of the Humanitarian Programme for the Reunification of the People of Donbass, assistance is paid to:
— combat veterans, people who suffered disabilities during the Great Patriotic War, World War II, its amount is 15 thousand rubles or 7.5 thousand UAH;
— families raising three or more children under the age of 18 years, the amount of assistance is 12 thousand rubles or 6 thousand UAH;
— persons who have special labor merits to the Homeland, the amount of assistance is 8 thousand rubles or 4 thousand UAH.
Payments are made at centers of social assistance and administrative services located at checkpoints.
According to the press service of the DPR Ministry of Labor and Social Policy, 47 veterans, 1,543 large families and 2 people with special labor merits to the Homeland, living in the territory of the Donetsk region temporarily controlled by Ukraine, have received assistance since the beginning of the payment process.
The payout period will last until December 15th of the current year. Additional information on the possibility of receiving a certain type of assistance is provided via the hotline.
