“The Investment Forum is not only a platform on capital flows’ attraction to the Donbass economy and the investment climate’s improvement, but also an opportunity to promote stronger external economic and business relations. Representatives of business associations and entrepreneurs from the United States, the European Union, Syria, and near and far abroad, including from the Russian Federation, the Republic of Abkhazia, the Republic of South Ossetia and, of course, the Lugansk People’s Republic, are expected to attend the Forum. We are sure that this event will play a very important role in the further economic growth of the Republic, therefore this event is very relevant for our young state,” a representative of the Forum Facilitating Committee said.

The Facilitating Committee’s representative also noted that within the two-day forum there will take place not only discussions and reports, but also visits to leading enterprises of the Republic. Along with that, exhibition panels of enterprises of Donbass, the Republic of South Ossetia and the Republic of Abkhazia will be displayed for two days.

“The first day of the International Investment Forum will provide its participants with interesting reports, discussions, informal dialogues in an atmosphere of confidence and transparency, which is especially important today, when Donbass continues the path of revival. All Forum participants will be able to enhance and establish new business relationships based on the principles of transparency and mutual respect. We hope that in a two-day period we will manage to demonstrate to our guests the vast investment, economic, human resources, scientific and cultural capacity of our Republic; to show all that we have accomplished under the transport and economic blockade and unrecognition conditions. In addition, a number of investment agreements and contracts are expected to be executed on the sidelines of the Forum,” the representative of the Facilitating Committee said.

In general, more than 500 representatives of the political and business elite from different countries are expected to participate in the Forum.
