Emergency and repair teams of the Republican Regional Energy Supply Company have restored power supply to residents of the villages of Michurino and the 6/7 mine in the north of Gorlovka, which had been de-energized earlier this day due to the mortar shelling by the AFU, reported the press service of the DPR Ministry of Coal and Energy.

On November 6, at 6:22 a.m., the 6 kV high-voltage line RP-32-TP-234 sustained considerable damage caused by the fire engaged by the Kiev forces. Shell fragments broke wires of the electrical towers No. 81-84, and 9 transformer stations feeding the villages of Michurino and 6/7 mine were de-energized. 639 households and a number of social facilities were cut off power.

Power engineers of the Republican Regional Energy Supply Company urgently proceeded to repairing the damage. Five transformer stations were put into operation already at 7:32 a.m., both villages were partially powered, at 1:22 p.m. professionals of the Gorlovka district branch of electric power net finally completed the repair and resumed power supply to all de-energized consumers.

At the moment Gorlovka is supplied with power under normal operating conditions.
