Today, between 13:00 and 14:30, a representative of the DPR People’s Militia press service and a camera crew of the All-Russian State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company Rossiya 24 were making a journalistic story about the consequences of the attack on Yasnoye by the AFU. During the filming of the places of damage, the journalists came under fire from positions of the 128th separate mountain assault brigade, which was carried out on the direct order from war criminal Korostelev.
The camera crew took cover from the attack in the basement of one of the buildings and has not been in touch until now. There are no losses among the media representatives or the DPR PM press service.
We call on the OSCE to stop the terror of the Ukrainian militants, exert pressure on the official Kiev and conduct a thorough investigation into what happened. We note that the regular attacks on journalists’ camera crews indicates that the criminal actions of Ukraine contradict the statements from the Ukrainian leadership on their commitment to the peaceful settlement of the conflict in Donbass.
