The DPR Prosecutor General’s Office investigates 15 crimes as part of 5 criminal cases on unlawful opening of fire at the DPR territory by AFU brigade commanders. The Criminal Investigation Division of the Prosecutor General’s Office initiated proceedings into acts constituting a crime under Article 229, Section 2 (a), (c) of the DPR Criminal Code (terrorist act) against the following brigade commanders: 59th separate mechanized infantry brigade, G. Shapovalov; 28th separate mechanized brigade, M.M. Marchenko; 36th separate marine brigade, A.V. Gnatov; 92nd separate mechanized brigade, V.V, Kokorev; 128th separate mountain assault brigade, E.V. Korostylev. The press service of the law enforcement agency reported today, on November 12.

It was established that during the period from November 1 to 9, 2019, the military of the 59th separate mechanized infantry brigade, by order from their commander G. Shapovalov, using mortars and grenade launchers, engaged Nikitovsky District of Gorlovka, which resulted in damage to the roof of the house at 96 Karbysheva Street, an outbuilding and the roof of the house at 140 Poletayeva Street, the glazing of apartment No. 2 at 7 Cherkasova Street; the roof of the house at 12 Zemnukhova Street and the glazing of the house at 25 Zemnukhova Street; the glazing of the house at 21 Zaslavskogo Street and the roof of the houses at 42 and 44 Zaslavskogo Street, as well as damage to the roof of the house at 32 Fenolnaya Street.

On November 2 and 7, 2019, the military of the 28th separate mechanized brigade, by order of their commander M.M. Marchenko, using grenade launchers, engaged Petrovsky District of Donetsk, which resulted in damage to the house at 46 Chernogorskaya Street, as well as the roof of the house at 37 Anosova Street.

On November 2 and 5, 2019, the military of the 36th separate marine brigade, by order of their commander A. V. Gnatov, using mortars, shelled the village of Kominternovo, Novoazovsky district, which resulted in damage to two outbuildings near the houses at 4A and 4B Vatutina Street, the house at 18 Akhmatovoy Street caught fire.
