Today, on November 15, the Donetsk Republican Universal Scientific Library named after N.K. Krupskaya hosted the presentation of the photo album “5 Years on Guard of Donbass. Dedicated to the Immortal Feat of the Great People”, dedicated to the fifth anniversary of the establishment of the DPR People’s Militia. Its authors and compilers were the press service of the UNM. According to the correspondent of the official website of the Donetsk People’s Republic, the entire edition of the photo album will be provided to library funds and educational institutions.
“The photo album illustrates all stages of our history, from the coup in Kiev in 2014, the spontaneous formation of the militia and the integration of the Armed Forces of the DPR to the present day. It presents works by both domestic and foreign authors, illustrating the entire process of the People’s Militia formation in chronological order. The album contains a number of previously unpublished photographs,” Dmitry Astrakhan, official representative of the DPR PMD, said.
“This publication is very important for our youth. This is the history of the country, the history of the formation of the 1st Donetsk Army Corps, the history of people who defended their homeland. This is especially valuable for the Yunarmeites,” Viktor Pudak, Chief of the Central Headquarters of the Young Guard Guard-Yunarmia military and patriotic movement, said.
