On Friday of November 15, as part of the work of the Donetsk Republic Public Movement’s Public Headquarters for work with the frontline areas, activists of the organization, together with deputy of the DPR People’s Council Vitaly Kravets and Head of the Debaltsevo Council Igor Zakharevich, provided aid to a resident of the locality, the press service of the organization reports.

In 2015 Alla Kurilets suffered an injury, as a result of which her leg was amputated. The woman is 65 years old and it is very difficult for her to cope even with housework. After she had contacted the local DRPM branch, activists of the Public Headquarters for Frontline Areas, together with deputies of the People’s Council, decided to purchase a wheelchair for the resident of Debaltsevo.

“Today we delivered a wheelchair to Alla Vasilievna, which will help her move around without the help of her family and feel more confident. But the assistance will not be over at this point, we plan to bring her next time a blood pressure monitor and necessary medications,” Vitaly Kravets said.

In turn, Igor Zakharevich noted that residents of the locality are regularly provided with assistance from both deputies of the DPR People’s Council of the DPR and activists of the Donetsk Republic Public Movement.

“It is very important for our people not to feel alone, to feel support from the authorities and the community. We are always ready to help people and will never leave them in trouble,” the Head of the local Council said.
