The enemy eleven times violated the ceasefire over the past day. Official representative of the DPR People’s Militia Directorate Rinat Aygistov reported on November 16.

  • “On the Gorlovka front, militants from the 59th brigade engaged Dolomitnoye by using 82mm mortars, automatic and anti-tank grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms.
  • On the Donetsk front, from positions of the 28th brigade, Aleksandrovka was engaged by automatic grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms.
  • On the Mariupol front, the forces of the 36th and 128th brigades engaged Petrovskoye, Yasnoye, Novaya Maryevka, Leninskoye, Oktyabr and Sakhanka by using 82mm mortars, IFV guns, automatic grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms.

In total, Ukrainian militants fired 92 items of different types of ammunition on the Republic. Information on the scale of destruction of civil infrastructure and casualties among the civilian population is being specified.

“Defenders of the Republic keep the actions of the enemy under control along the entire line of contact, at the same time respecting the conditions of the ceasefire. Nevertheless, since the forces and equipment were withdrawn, provocative attacks by the AFU, including sniper fire, have been reported almost daily, which was repeatedly documented by the OSCE SMM in its reports.

Nationalist gangs uncontrolled by the joint forces operation’s command staff still cannot come to terms with the implementation of the peacebuilding process to resolve the conflict and are trying in every possible way to escalate the situation in the disengagement area. At the same time, we noted that the radicals actively involve the Ukrainian media (1+1, Channel 5, ICTV) for making staged journalistic stories that the DPR People’s Militia allegedly thwarts the obligations for complying with the ceasefire,” the DPR PM official representative noted.
