As of November 16, assistance was provided to 10,683 applicants who had found themselves in difficult circumstances, Chairman of the Fund Oleg Balykin stated at the briefing in Donetsk on November 19.

“On November 15, the 22nd meeting of the United Donbass Fund’s Commission took place in 2019. 230 cases were considered, of which there were approved 230 packages of documents submitted for receiving one-off assistance. In 2019, 22 meetings were held and 4,101 applications were approved, of which 3,547 applicants received assistance. Over the entire period of the Fund’s work, there have been considered 31,114 applications.

11,389 applications were approved, including the following main categories: difficult living situation — 4,142 applicants (36.37%) of the total number of approved packages of documents; citizens aged 65 and over — 3,383 applications (29.70%) of the total approved; 1 and 2 grade invalids — 2,496 packages of documents (21.92%) of the total number of approved applications.

At that, the Chairman of the United Donbass Foundation reminded the applicants that the Fund does not pay personally, and assistance can be received at all departments of the Donbass Post State Enterprise and at the centers of social and administrative services located at entry and exit checkpoints.
