The investigation department of the DPR General Prosecutor’s Office has opened criminal cases on the basis of paragraphs A and C of part 2 of Article 229 of the Criminal Code of the DPR (commission of a terrorist act) against Commander of the 59th separate motorized infantry brigade Shapovalov G. N., Commander of the 28th separate mechanized brigade Marchenko M. M. and Commander of the 36th separate marine brigade Gnatov A. V., the press service of the DPR Prosecutor General’s Office reported today, on November 21.

It has been established that on November 12, 13 and 16, servicemen of the 59th separate motorized infantry brigade, on the orders of Commander Shapovalov G.N., fired with mortars and grenade launchers on the Nikitovsky district of Gorlovka, causing damage to: residential buildings at 52 Babiya Street and 26 Foteyeva Street, along with an outbuilding and summer kitchen at 49 Koneva Street.

On November 13 and 18, servicemen of the 36th separate marine brigade, on the orders of Commander Gnatov A.V., fired with mortars on the Novoazovsky District, causing fire to the residential building at 1 Tsentralnaya Street in the village of Sosnovskoye and damage to the residential building at 88 Kirova Street in Kominternovo.

On November 10, servicemen of the 28th separate mechanized brigade, on the orders of Commander Marchenko M.M., fired with mortars and grenade launchers on Staromikhailovka in the Kirovsky district of Donetsk, causing damage to the residential building at 8 Kirova Street.

Along with that, on November 13 and 14, servicemen of the above-mentioned brigade, on the orders of Marchenko M. M., fired with mortars and grenade launchers on the Petrovsky district of Donetsk, as a result of which there was damaged a gas pipeline near the residential building at 40 Lugovsky Street and the glazing of the residential buildings at 3 and 5 Pionerskaya Street in the village of Signalnoye.
