On November 23, the Krupskaya Library hosted the ceremonial summing up of the #ЭкоChallenge flash mob’s results, the press service of the Young Republic Public Organization reports.

Head of the Young Republic Public Organization Kirill Makarov personally presented certificates to the participants of the flash mob.

“The youth has in a moment rallied for one common goal—to make the Republic cleaner. The initiative of Kirill Samoilov, an ordinary school student from Makeyevka, stirred up social networks. His example was followed not in the Donetsk People’s Republic alone, but also in the Russian Federation,” Kirill Makarov said.

He added that the flash mob had achieved the international recognition after the following regions of the Russian Federation had taken part in it: the Moscow Region, Astrakhan, Kaliningrad, Tomsk, Nizhny Novgorod and other regions. More than 1,000 residents of the Republic became participants of the #ЭкоChallenge.

For the initiative taken and his personal contribution to the implementation of the ecological flash mob, Kirill Samoilov became the first to be awarded.

Activists of the Young Republic branches, students of higher and secondary professional education institutions, as well as the Youth Parliament of the DPR, schools of the Republic and many other associations took part in the ecological #ЭкоChallenge flash mob. All of them were awarded certificates of honour and appreciation for the initiative and active participation in the life of the Republic.
