Today, on November 28, a number of hospitals in the Donetsk People’s Republic received new medical equipment from the Russian Federation as humanitarian aid, a correspondent of the DPR official website reports.
Thus, the Children’s Clinical Hospital of the Republic was provided with an MRI machine. The Republic’s Trauma Center is now provided with a CT scanner. The Donetsk Clinical Territorial Medical Association and the Novoazovsk Central District Hospital received modern X-Ray machines.
“This cargo is very important to us, as this modern equipment will enable us to carry out highly accurate diagnostics. It is particularly important that it is the children’s hospital to receive a powerful MRI machine, which will make it possible to provide modern diagnostic assistance to our children. On behalf of the DPR Ministry of Health and on my own behalf, I want to thank the Government of the Russian Federation for the invaluable assistance in promoting healthcare service in our Republic,” Olga Dolgoshapko, the Healthcare Minister of the DPR, said.
