As part of the implementation of the DPR Head’s Order On the Implementation of Measures for Reconstruction of Public Housing Stock for Subsequent Distribution Among Certain Categories of People Affected by Hostilities, the work is ongoing at 83 sites in towns of the Republic, Minister of Construction Industry, Housing and Public Utilities Sector Sergey Naumets reported on Friday of November 29.
“The repair of the public housing stock for temporary accommodation of persons affected by hostilities continues in the Republic. Currently, the work covers 83 facilities in Gorlovka, Yenakiyevo, Zhdanovka, Makeyevka, Snezhnoye, Ilovaysk, Yasinovataya and Debaltsevo. 25 apartments have been repaired (24 in Donetsk, 1 in Yasinovataya). In total, the administrations of cities, towns and districts have provided more than 100 apartments for this purpose,” Sergey Naumets said.
We remind you that the repair as part of the mentioned order began in the summer. Empty houses of the municipal housing stock are being repaired, then, they will be transferred to the categories of needy people specified in the regulatory document. These are the families of the dead military, families of the military who have no housing in the territory of the Republic, persons whose housing has been completely or partially destroyed as a result of combat operations, displaced persons.
