On December 4, the militants of the 92nd separate mechanized brigade’s 1st battalion engaged Krutaya Balka from the direction of Avdeyevka. The attack was initiated by battalion commander Borodin, who violated the ceasefire and engaged the locality contrary to the instructions of brigade commander Kokorev.
Information on the scale destruction of the civil infrastructure and civilian casualties is being specified.
There were losses on our side. As a result of the attack, a defender of the Republic suffered a fatal wound.
We call on the OSCE and other international organizations to stop the terror of Ukrainian militants and exert pressure on the official Ukrainian government to conduct a thorough investigation into what happened and punish the perpetrators. We note that the death of the People’s Militia soldier proves that the criminal actions of Ukraine run counter to the statements from the Ukrainian leadership on their commitment to the peaceful settlement of the conflict in Donbass.
