According to the information obtained by the DPR People’s Militia, shortly before the Normandy Format meeting of heads of states in Paris on December 9, Ukrainian nationalist groups plan to carry out an act of sabotage in the area of the disengagement of forces and hardware on the Bogdanovka-Petrovskoye site No.3, Vice-Commander of the Operational Command Colonel Eduard Basurin reported details at the briefing in Donetsk on December 6.
“In order to carry out sabotage, a unit of the Right Sector Volunteer Ukrainian Corps was ordered to open massive mortar fire at Bogdanovka. After a series of terrorist attacks on rocket and artillery weapons depots and numerous inspections to record the presence of ammunition, the security of all arms arsenals has been reinforced and taken under special control. For this reason, mortars have been delivered to the unit of the Right Sector Volunteer Ukrainian Corps from the interior of the country and placed in a cache in the Bogdanovka area,” Eduard Basurin said.
The Colonel also noted that crews of Ukrainian news agencies (1+1, 5 channel and ICTV) would be engaged in documenting the results of the shelling with a view to make production scenes accusing the DPR People’s Militia of aggression against civilians in Donbass.
