The establishment of humiliating “Truth Commissions” that will be lustrating and prosecuting all “wrong” residents of the republics will not restore Donbas’s trust in Ukraine, chief of the DRPM Central Executive Committee’s Department for Structural Development Andrey Bedilo claims.
“The Ukrainian president is trying to persuade the residents of Donbas in a very original way to return to Ukraine. He is sorely mistaken if he believes that the establishment of humiliating “Truth Commissions” that will be lustrating and prosecuting all “wrong” residents of the republics is something that will boost our liking for Kiev.
And after Zelensky personally approved the five plans of the National Security and Defense Council for “reintegration”, including the much-talked-of plan for the deportation of the people of Donbas, everything became clear, Ukraine needs only our land, not the people who live here.
It is not without reason that Zelensky in an interview with foreign media urged all residents of Donbas who consider themselves Russians to leave for Russia, noting that Ukraine does not need them.
At the same time, his assistant Andrey Yermak stated that if all the terms of Ukraine were not met, they would barricade from us with a wall. It is very similar to Yulia Timoshenko’s promise, who during the Orange Revolution threatened to fence Donbass in with barbed wire. It turns out that time passes by, the rulers in Ukraine change, but their anti-Donbass rhetoric, either under Yuschenko or under Poroshenko, or under Zelensky, remains the same.
And the Kiev government’s all hatred against us was demonstrated by their latest anti-human initiative to establish private prisons in order to take away money from the residents of the republics, whom they want to massively arrest for “separatism”.
But we can confidently say that all of their delusional plans will never come true,” Andrey Bedilo commented.
