Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian militants engaged the areas of populated localities of the Republic twelve times, official representative of the DPR PMD Oleg Nikitin reported during a daily briefing.
- “On the Gorlovka front, militants from Shapovalov’s 59th brigade shelled the village of Gagarin Mine (Gorlovka) by using 82mm mortars.
- On the Donetsk front, militants from the 28th brigade commanded by Marchenko, the 56th brigade commanded by Ivanov and the 92nd brigade commanded by Kokorev engaged Krutaya Balka, Belaya Kamenka, Yasinovataya, the Volvo Center in Donetsk and the village of Trudovskaya Mine by using 120mm and 82mm mortars, infantry fighting vehicles, various types of grenade launcher, heavy machine guns and small arms.
- On the Mariupol front, militants from the 10th brigade commanded by Zubanich shelled Kominternovo with 120mm mortars.
In total, Ukrainian militants fired more than one hundred items of different types of ammunition on the Republic’s territory.
Information on the scale of destruction of the civil infrastructure and civilian casualties is being specified.”
