Today, on December 12, Youth Parliament deputy Polina Gladchenko met with students of the Donetsk Academy of Motor Transport. In the course of the meeting, participants discussed the results of the Norman Four negotiations.

“The publication of the intentionally distorted communiqué of the Paris summit by the Office of the President of Ukraine once again demonstrates Kiev’s attempts to rewrite not the Minsk Agreements alone, but also the decisions of the Norman Four leaders.

After Denis Pushilin’s stated that the communiqué had been translated incorrectly, Kiev had no choice but to correct the translation. However, the Paris summit participants adopted the final document in English, and the Ukrainian President’s Office left the English version of the communique unchanged, thereby continuing to misinform the global community. Zelensky keeps bending every effort to evade responsibility, this time trying to come up with some new non-existent details of the agreement adopted at the Paris summit.

Interestingly, recently the Ilko Kucheriv Democratic Initiatives Foundation conducted a public opinion poll which found that more than 70% of Ukrainians supported the Minsk Agreements’ implementation by Kiev. But the Ukrainian authorities not only do not listen to the people, they hide behind fake documents, fearing the rage of nationalist battalions. Mindless puppets have come to power, which are even worse versions of previous rulers. A new team of “leaders” with each step only aggravate public moods in the country. We are hopeful that the Ukrainian political elite will come to their senses under pressure exerted by guarantor countries and begin to implement the peace plan,” the parliamentarian said.
