Today, on December 16, DPR People’s Council deputy Marina Zheynova delivered humanitarian aid to the veterans movement of the Kievsky district of Donetsk. According to the correspondent of the official website of the Donetsk People’s Republic, this aid was provided with the assistance of the Public Headquarters for Frontline Districts of the Donetsk Republic Public Movement.

“The Acting Chairperson of the Veterans Council of the Kievsky district addressed us with a request to help people who belong to this organization because they were in great need. Therefore, we immediately appealed to the Public Headquarters for Frontline Districts, since this is not the first time that we have held joint actions, and they never deny assistance. This time we are give out medical devices — glucometers and blood pressure monitors, along with walkers, diapers and urological pads for veterans of the Great Patriotic War,” Marina Zheinova said.

The parliamentarian also noted that such actions would be continued, especially in the frontline areas, as the people living there are in greater need of support and care.

For her part, Acting Chairperson of the Veterans Council Valentina Drobysheva expressed her appreciation to the leadership of the Republic and the Donetsk Republic Public Movement for the timely assistance.

“We have already repeatedly received medications needed by the combatants and disabled veterans of the Great Patriotic War, there are about 30 such persons in our district. We are working in coordination with the Kievsky District Council, the DRPM and deputies of the DPR People’s Council to provide our veterans with all kinds of assistance,” she added.

In addition, part of the aid brought will be delivered to some persons’ addresses, since not all of them can come and get it on their own.
