Over the past day, the enemy engaged the areas of populated localities of the Republic four times, DPR PMD official representative Rinat Aygistov reported at a briefing in Donetsk on December 16.
On the Donetsk front, militants from the 56th and 28th AFU brigades engaged Zhabichevo, Yelenovka and the Volvo Center by using anti-tank grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms.
On the Mariupol front, the 10th brigade shelled Bezymennoye with 82mm mortars.
Information on the scale of destruction of the civil infrastructure and casualties among the civilian population is being specified.
