Today, on December 19, representatives of the DPR People’s Militia and the Humanitarian Team Angel visited children in frontline villages of Gorlovka to give them presents on the occasion of St. Nicholas Day, the DPR PMD’s press service reports.
Leader of the Humanitarian Team Angel Alexey Smirnov commented on this event.
“The village of Mine 6/7 of Gorlovka is located at the delimitation line. AFU positions are at a distance of less than a kilometer. Children live 300 meters from the front line. Many of them were born during this war. All of them, of course, are waiting for the New Year’s and we, the adults, must give them at least a small gift from Santa Claus, whom all of them believe in and hope that peace will come. Thanks to the DPR People’s Militia for escorting us on the front, so we could carry out our humanitarian actions,” Alexey Smirnov said.
