In his annual address to People’s Council deputies, Head of the DPR Denis Pushilin focused on the fight against corruption and problems associated with border crossing, a correspondent of the Official Website of the Donetsk People’s Republic reported on December 20.
“It is necessary to make every effort to normalize the work of specialized services at border checkpoints in the two directions: towards Russia and towards the DPR territory temporarily controlled by Ukraine. It is necessary to eliminate barriers that interfere with convenient border crossing of our citizens. So, the task is not just to keep the queues to a minimum and stabilize the situation in a short time, people should be able to cross the checkpoints quickly and comfortably,” Denis Pushilin said.
