The Investigation Division of the DPR Prosecutor General’s Office has initiated criminal proceedings into acts constituting a crime under Article 229, Section 2 (a), (c) of the DPR Criminal Code (terrorist act) against the following commanders: 56th AFU separate mechanized infantry brigade, I.V. Ivanov; 128th AFU separate mountain assault brigade, O.N. Goncharuk; 10th AFU separate mountain assault brigade, V.I. Zubanich, the press service of the DPR Prosecutor General’s Office reported today, on January 27.
It was established that on January 25, 2020, the military personnel of the 56th separate mechanized infantry brigade shelled Petrovsky District of Donetsk by using mortars on the orders from their commander I.V. Ivanov, as a result of which the glazing in the house at 90 Levanevskogo Street was damaged, as well as an outbuilding of the house at 100 Voykova Street.
On January 25, 2020, the military personnel of the 128th separate mountain assault brigade shelled the village of Yasnoye, Dokuchayevsk, by using mortars on the orders from their commander O.N. Goncharuk, as a result of which the roofs of the houses at 17 and 18 Pobedy Street were damaged.
Moreover, on January 26, 2020, the military personnel of the 10th separate mountain assault brigade shelled the village of Kominternovo, Novoazovsky District, by using mortars on the orders of their commander V.I. Zubanich, which resulted in damage to the house at 15 Akhmatovoy Street, as well as a garage of the house at 13 Akhmatovoy Street.
