The armed formations of Ukraine engaged populated localities of the Republic seven times over the past day, spokesman for the DPR PMD Rinat Aygistov reported at a briefing in Donetsk on January 27.
“On the Gorlovka front, militants from the 58th brigade engaged the village of Gagarin Mine by using automatic grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms.
On the Donetsk front, the forces of the 28th brigade armed with IFVs, automatic grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms engaged Staromikhaylovka.
On the Mariupol front, the 10th brigade using 120mm mortars, heavy machine guns and small arms attacked Sakhanka and Kominternovo.
Information on the scale of destruction of the civil infrastructure and victims among civilians is being clarified,” Rinat Aygistov reported.
