Today, on January 28, Krupskaya Donetsk Republican Universal Scientific Library hosted a round table on the topic “Formation and determination of promising vectors of cooperation and interaction on youth policy under the integration program of Donbass and the Russian Federation.” According to the correspondent of the Official Website of the Donetsk People’s Republic, the event was organized with the assistance of the Russian Center.
The meeting was attended by First Deputy Minister of Youth, Sports and Tourism of the DPR Viktor Orekhov, Executive Director of the Russian Center Public Organization Elena Evseyeva, Deputy Head of the Young Republic Public Organization Konstantin Komlenok, Chairman of the All-Russian Naslediye [Heritage] Public Patriotic Organization Vitaly Sheremetiev and others.
During the discussion, the participants of the meeting reviewed plans for preparing for and holding events related to the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War, the participation of the Heritage Youth Patriotic Organization in the Republic’s activities and projects the Star of the Hero, the Faces of Victory, the Candle of Remembrance, as well as the More [Sea] Educational Forum. The parties also considered participation of the Young Republic’s representatives in patriotic forums in the territory of the Russian Federation and promotion of platforms and seminars for specialists in the field of youth policy.
“In 2019, we signed an agreement with the All-Russian Heritage Public Youth Patriotic Organization. We held several events jointly with them and look forward to further cooperation. This year we will boost the field of youth policy development,” Konstantin Komlenok, the Deputy Head of the Young Republic Public Organization, commented.
“By the end of 2019, much work had been undertaken by the Heritage Public Organization in cooperation with the Donetsk People’s Republic in different fields. The main theme of this year is the 75th anniversary of the Victory, to which a huge number of projects are devoted. We plan to elaborate a roadmap for our joint activities. I’ll tell you a secret that this year young people from Russia will join the Immortal Regiment in Donetsk, and vice versa, young people from the DPR will march in Russia. In addition, we want to raise the issue of searching activities promotion in the DPR, and others,” Vitaliy Sheremetiev said.
