The People’s Council Committee for Budget, Finance and Economic Policy held a meeting in Donetsk to discuss the draft Law On Amendments to the Law of the Donetsk People’s Republic On the Taxation System, and issues relating to the formation of a legislative framework for investment activities. Chairperson of the Committee Marina Zheynova commented on the results.
“This draft law provides for the introduction of quarterly reporting for all income tax payers, except for payers with the special income tax and turnover tax treatment and monthly advance payments.
The Committee also discussed the concepts of draft laws regulating the improvement of the investment climate. When elaborating such draft laws, we focus on the need for supporting both domestic and foreign investors, establishing preferential taxation for investment entities. In addition, members of the Committee carried out a legal analysis of the by-laws necessary for the implementation of law provisions regulating investment activities,” Zheynova informed.
