In modern society, social networks play a key role in human life and are the most important channel for receiving and transmitting information. In an exclusive interview with a correspondent of the DPR Official Website, Mayor of Khartsyzsk Victoria Zhukova told about how the local self-government uses social networks.
“Internet resources have been used in the Republic since 2014. Head of the Republic Denis Pushilin instructed local authorities to step up the work on social networks in order to relieve social tension, to inform citizens in a timely and reliable manner, to notify of and announce certain events. As a result, the work of the local government bodies is becoming more qualitative and effective,” Victoria Zhukova commented.
She also noted that the expeditious use of Internet resources and social networks in modern society, especially in the conditions of information warfare, is just necessary.
