The Investigation Division of the DPR Prosecutor General’s Office has initiated and is investigating a criminal case against commander of the 58th AFU separate motorized infantry brigade D.V. Kaschenko, as well as against his subordinate military, on an act constituting the crime under Article 229, Section 2 (a), (c) (terrorist act) of the DPR Criminal Code, the press-service of the DPR Prosecutor General’s Office reported on February 6.
It was established that on February 5, 2020, the military of the 58th separate motorized infantry brigade, on the order of their commander D.V. Kaschenko, shelled the village of Mine 6/7, Nikitovsky District of Gorlovka, by using 120mm mortars, which resulted in damage to the shelter in the yard of School 75 on Timiryazeva Street, the glazing of the house at 24/1 Timiryazeva Street and the fence of the house at 21 Mira Street.
Investigators from the Prosecutor General’s Office are currently conducting the necessary investigative activities.
