Starting February 6, the emergency situation regime has been introduced in the DPR territory, the 24/7 operation of the Interdepartmental Staff for Countrywide Emergency Response has been organized under the leadership of General Lieutenant of Civil Defense Aleksey Kostrubitsky. According to the press service of the DPR Ministry of Emergency Situations, communication with cities, towns and districts of the Republic is carried out via videoconferencing.

As of 12:00, the traffic movement has temporary difficulties on public highways in Starobeshevsky, Amvrosiyevsky and Shakhtyorsky Districts.

Note that measures have been taken to relieve the consequences of the severe weather conditions in cities, towns and districts of the Republic.

At the moment, 24 vehicles and 86 people from among the Emergency Situations Ministry’s personnel have been involved in removing the snow from the roads, rescuing vehicles out of snowdrifts and removing fallen trees.

Employees of the State Committee for Forestry and Hunting have also been involved in cleaning the roads from fallen trees. The Emergency Situations Ministry’s resources and facilities are on high alert for rapid response to emergencies.
