On February 5 at 15:08, as a result of Kiev militants’ firing, the villages of Kominternovo and Zaichenko were left without electricity.

The DPR Coal and Energy Ministry’s duty officer informed that shell fragments had cut the wires of the three phases of the Sakhanka–Dzerzhynskoye 10 kV power line, 9 electrical substations were de-energized, 402 household users were left without power supply.

“Unfortunately, it is impossible to quickly fix the line now, it is necessary to agree with the Ukrainian side on the emergency repair work to guarantee the observance of the ceasefire for this time.

Gorlovka’s village of Mine 6/7 was cut off power just last morning because of the AFU concentrated fire, 1024 consumers were left without electricity.

At 11:25 a.m., specialists from the Regional Energy Supply Company managed to fix the 6 kV power line and resumed the supply to the Gorlovka residents,” the Ministry noted.
