Five years have passed since the Minsk Agreements were signed. DPR People’s Council deputy Vladislav Berdichevsky commented on the implementation of the Complex of Measures and its importance.

“Five years ago, after another infamous and wrecked encirclement in Debaltsevo, Ukraine retreated de facto and was forced to sign the Minsk Agreements. It is hard to assess their importance now, but the upside of these agreements is that it has become quieter in Donbass.

Nevertheless, the number of victims of the Ukrainian aggression is growing, our infrastructure is being destroyed, and the republics are living amid the economic and political blockade.

Ukraine won’t stop trying to rewrite the Minsk Agreements, even to pull out of them, blaming the people’s republics for everything. But nobody will go for that. No action will be taken without the consent of DPR and LPR representatives.

Despite everything, we continue integrating with the Russian Federation and move towards development and prosperity trends,” Vladislav Berdichevsky said.
