On the morning of February 14, one of the DPR coal-mining enterprises came under AFU fire, the DPR Coal and Energy Ministry’s press service reports.
At 7:15 a.m., hostilities resulted in damage to a power lead energizing the air shaft of the self-standing Chelyuskintsev Mine affiliated with the Donetsk Coal Energy Company State Enterprise, located in the proximity of the village of Staromikhaylovka. The air shaft was de-energized, then five rounds struck the shaft house.
Already at 9:15, the power outage was remedied. At the time of the firing, no coal mining was in progress. 19 miners were inby, maintaining the functioning of the enterprise, none of them was hurt.
The mine is operating as per normal now.
