The Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Donetsk People’s Republic reports violations of Donbass citizens’ rights to life and security of person by the Ukrainian party.
On February 15, as a result of a sniper attack on the Petrovsky district of Donetsk, a male civilian born in 1959 suffered multiple penetrating gunshot abdominal wounds and a bullet wound to the right hip.
On February 16, as a result of a sniper attack by the Ukrainian forces, Republic’s military born in 1971 and 1979 suffered wounds of various severity.
On February 20, as a result of hostilities in the Novoazovsky district, a Republic’s military born in 1979 suffered an explosive injury and traumatic amputation of the left foot.
4,902 people, including 81 children, have perished in the Donetsk People’s Republic since the outbreak of the armed conflict.
