Over the past day, the armed formations of Ukraine opened fire nine times on populated localities of the Republic, spokesman for the DPR PMD Dmitry Astrakhan reported during the briefing on February 25.
“On the Gorlovka front, fighters of the 58th brigade armed with rocket launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms engaged the village of Gagarin Mine and Izotov Mine.
On the Donetsk front, forces of the 92nd, 28th and 128th brigades armed with 82mm mortars, rocket launchers of various types, heavy machine guns and small arms engaged Vesyoloye, Zhabichevo, Aleksandrovka, Dokuchayevsk and the Donetsk airport environs.
Information on the scale of destruction of the civil infrastructure and casualties among the civilian population is being specified.
Materials on the cases of attacks on populated localities have been sent to representatives of international organizations stationed in the Republic and to the DPR Prosecutor General’s Office to open criminal cases against AFU brigade commanders Kokorev, Marchenko, Kaschenko and Goncharuk,” Dmitry Astrakhan reported.
