During the fourth meeting of the United Donbass Fund’s commission, which was held on February 20, they reviewed 1039 cases, of which 190 appeals from citizens who found themselves in a difficult life situation were approved and 849 applications were denied. Chief of the fund Oleg Balykin reported at the briefing in Donetsk on February 25.

“A total of 561 appeals were approved for the four meetings held in 2020.

Also, on the occasion of Defender of the Fatherland Day, 119 applicants with mine-blast traumata and 21 DPR defenders got financial aid.

Over the whole period of the fund’s work 34,255 appeals have been considered, of which 11,974 appeals have been approved. Thus, as of February 25, 11,183 applicants have received financial aid,” Oleg Balykin reported.

He also noted that the payments process based on the first three commissions of the United Donbass Fund would begin on February 26. Applicants whose appeal has been approved can collect the payment at Pochta Donbassa offices.
