A statement from a DPR PMD official representative says that, according to our intelligence, 28th Brigade Commander Marchenko has drawn up a report to the Joint Forces Operation Head, containing an analysis of infantry fighting vehicles’ engagement in the Donbass conflict. According to the information available, in this report Marchenko points to the success brought by the use of combat vehicles’ guns and suggests that they be engaged more intensively.
“We do not exclude the possibility that, should Marchenko’s proposals be approved by the supreme occupational command, the armed formations oа Ukraine will step up launching fire with IFV cannons along the entire contact line,” the DPR PMD representative noted.
The intelligence has obtained data on the SBU conducting a special operation in the 58th separate mechanised infantry brigade to identify channels illegal arms and drugs traffic channels used by the militants of this brigade.
To date, law enforcement authorities have detained seven Ukrainian militants who had organized illegal traffic through social networks and instant messengers.
