According to the data recorded by monitors of the Representative Office of the Lugansk People’s Republic to the JCCC, no shelling by the AFU has been registered over the past day.
Since the beginning of the current day, the enemy twice opened fire at the Republic’s territory. Militants of the 93rd brigade under Bryzhinsky fired at Frunze locality with 120mm mortars and anti-tank grenade launchers. Militants of the 72nd brigade, at the order of war criminal Bogomolov, fired at Kalinovo locality with small arms.
As a result of the Ukrainian aggression, a defender of the Republic was mortally wounded.
The press office of the LPR People’s Militia reported this today, on March 4.
“Thanks to skilful and coordinated actions of the Triton-M1 REW station crew and the military personnel of an LPR People’s Militia air defense unit, a UAV of the quadrocopter type, used by the 46th brigade’s militants to conduct reconnaissance of our positions, was identified and brought down near Vesyolaya Gora locality. The aircraft received minor damage and after being restored will replenish the trophy UAV fleet of the LPR People’s Militia. The information contained by the UAV’s flash drive is being studied by our specialists,” the statement by the LPR People’s Militia press office reads.
