A round-table discussion on the topic “75 years of the Great Victory: historical memory and the policy of oblivion” took place in the Gorlovka Institute of Foreign Languages on Tuesday, March 3, the press office of the DPR Ministry of Youth, Sports and Tourism reports.
During the meeting, there were presented four reports, prepared by professors of the Philosophy and History Department. The speakers touched upon the most significant aspects of the proposed problem, which aroused enduring interest among the audience.
It is worth noting that the honorary guests of the event was the delegation of the Naslediye [Heritage] All-Russian Public Youth Patriotic Organization, led by its Chairman Vitaly Sheremetyev.
The event was facilitated by the Russian Center and the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Tourism of the Donetsk People’s Republic.
